A new beginning – with a clear outlook on the road ahead.
Under the leadership of Emma Page, T&N is entering a new chapter. In her editorial, Emma describes her first impressions of the company and discusses its focus on promoting young talent and its plans for further development as part of the WTG Group.
A new chapter – with a clear view ahead
My time at T&N did not get off to a loud start, but rather began with many conversations. Deliberately. First during the introductory phase before 31 December, and then in my role as CEO since 1 January. This period was intense and instructive, but above all, it was honest.I listened. I listened to employees who have shaped T&N for many years. I listened to customers who place their trust in us. I listened to partners and suppliers who challenge us and help us move forward. These conversations were open and sometimes uncomfortable, but always clear. That was exactly what was important. It's the only way to gain an accurate understanding of not only what T&N is today, but also our strengths and weaknesses.
At the same time, I engaged in intensive discussions with my fellow managing directors within WTG. The takeover of T&N by WTG in 2025 represents more than just a formal change. It represents a new strategic environment and new opportunities, as well as new expectations. These discussions helped me to develop a clear understanding of T&N's position within the WTG Group and the contribution we want to make.
Throughout the process, it became clear that we remain true to what T&N has always stood for at our core.
At the same time, WTG gives us access to new expertise, scale and strategic partnerships. One example of this is Zoom. This partnership enables us to focus more on the Swiss market, sharpen our profile and clearly differentiate ourselves from our competitors. This is not about trying to be everything to everyone, but about knowing what we stand for and what we don't.
Focus is key. We must focus on our core competencies. Focus on quality rather than randomness. Focus on sustainable solutions.
Most importantly, we must focus on promoting and developing young talent. The future of T&N will be determined not by technology alone, but by people. It will be decided by their curiosity, their willingness to learn and their attitude. I am personally committed to creating conditions in which talent can flourish, both professionally and personally.
Innovation is not an end in itself. Topics such as artificial intelligence are rapidly changing our market environment. Our aim is not only to observe these developments, but also to harness them responsibly for the clear benefit of our customers. We take a realistic view and consider the substance of things, always asking: What are the concrete benefits? What became clear in the process is that: At our core, we remain true to what T&N has always stood for.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to everyone. Firstly, I would like to thank all T&N employees for their openness, trust and willingness to embark on this journey with us. I would also like to thank our customers and partners for their honest feedback on what sets T&N apart and where we need to improve.
T&N is entering a new chapter. This does not mean forgetting our origins, but rather developing them further. We are a strong partner in the IT and communications environment. We have a clear focus, growing expertise and an open mind for what lies ahead.
I look forward to shaping this next chapter together.
Emma Page, CEO of T&N Switzerland
